Satsang Gyanyagn
Satsang Gyanyagn is the collective name for Kundaldham's transformative residential camps and community programmes designed to ignite and sustain the flame of spiritual knowledge. These camps bring together devotees of all ages — children, youth, women, and families — in a structured environment where scriptural study, devotional practice, and cultural activities are woven into every session. Each programme is carefully tailored to the life stage and needs of its participants, ensuring that the teachings of Lord Swaminarayan resonate deeply and practically.

Swaminarayan Satsang Shibir
The Swaminarayan Satsang Shibir is a flagship residential camp held for adult devotees seeking to deepen their understanding of the Swaminarayan Sampraday's sacred texts and daily spiritual practice. Participants engage in morning prayers, discourse sessions, scriptural study groups, and devotional singing under the guidance of learned sadhus. The camp provides a rare opportunity for devotees to step away from worldly distractions, immerse themselves fully in satsang, and return home with renewed conviction and clarity in their spiritual life.

The Yuva-Yuvati Shibir is a dynamic residential programme designed especially for young men and women navigating the challenges of modern life while striving to maintain their spiritual roots. Through interactive workshops, group discussions, personality development sessions, and devotional activities, this camp empowers young devotees with the tools to live according to the values of the Swaminarayan Sampraday. Sports, cultural performances, and team activities foster a sense of community, while evening discourses and kirtans inspire a lasting connection with the Lord.

Bal-Balika Shibir
The Bal-Balika Shibir is a specially crafted residential camp for young children, designed to introduce them to the joys of satsang in an age-appropriate and engaging way. Through stories of Lord Swaminarayan, creative arts and crafts, bhajan singing, simple scriptural lessons, and fun group activities, children develop a genuine love for devotion from their earliest years. The camp creates a nurturing environment where every child feels valued, inspired, and connected to the rich spiritual heritage of the Sampraday.

Kishor-Kishori Shibir
The Kishor-Kishori Shibir is tailored for teenagers — an age group that faces unique pressures and choices. This residential camp combines spiritual education with practical life skills, helping adolescents understand the relevance of Lord Swaminarayan's teachings in their daily lives. Activities include scriptural quizzes, drama and cultural presentations, guest talks, and guided meditation. The camp builds character, confidence, and a strong spiritual foundation at a critical stage of life, equipping young devotees to face the world with faith and integrity.

Mahila Manch
Mahila Manch is a dedicated platform and programme for women devotees, providing a space to gather, learn, celebrate, and serve together. Through regular satsang sessions, kirtan gatherings, scriptural study circles, and service projects, Mahila Manch empowers women to deepen their personal devotion while contributing meaningfully to the wider community. Special workshops on spiritual practices, health, and family values make this an enriching programme that honours the central role of women in sustaining the culture and values of the Swaminarayan Sampraday.
Utsav — Festivals and Celebrations
The festival calendar at Kundaldham is a magnificent tapestry of colour, devotion, and cultural richness. Each Utsav is observed with deep reverence and joyful exuberance, drawing thousands of devotees to the mandir to participate in rituals, decorations, cultural programmes, and communal celebrations that have been part of the Swaminarayan tradition for generations. These festivals are not merely occasions for enjoyment — they are opportunities to experience the Lord's presence in every act of worship, offering, and celebration.
1Hildola Utsav
Hildola Utsav, the festival of the divine swing, is one of the most visually enchanting celebrations at Kundaldham. During this festival, the deities are adorned with seasonal flowers and seated on an elaborately decorated swing (hildola), while devotees gather to rock the swing gently as a loving act of service. Bhajans specific to the Hildola season fill the mandir, and the entire atmosphere takes on a festive, tender quality that evokes the playful divine nature of Lord Swaminarayan.
2Shivratri Utsav
Shivratri Utsav at Kundaldham is observed with great devotion in honour of Lord Shiva, whose sacred Kundleswar Mahadev temple stands at the heart of the Kundal region. Devotees observe fasts, offer night-long prayers, perform abhishek of the Shivling, and participate in kirtans and discourses. The atmosphere of deep silence and prayerful vigil that pervades the festival creates a uniquely moving spiritual experience.
3Divya Dipotsav
Divya Dipotsav is Kundaldham's magnificent celebration of light, coinciding with the Diwali season. The entire temple complex is illuminated with thousands of diyas, lanterns, and decorative lights that transform the premises into a breathtaking sea of flame and radiance. Devotees participate in aarti, lakshmi puja, fireworks, and cultural programmes celebrating the victory of light over darkness.
4Divya Rangotsav
Divya Rangotsav is Kundaldham's vibrant celebration of Holi, the festival of colours. The mandir premises come alive with joyful participation as devotees play with natural, eco-friendly colours while singing festive kirtans and bhajans. The celebration is infused with the spiritual significance of Holi within the Swaminarayan tradition — a time to shed negative emotions and celebrate the triumph of devotion.
5Jaljilani Ekadashi
Jaljilani Ekadashi is a sacred observance during which the deities are taken in a grand procession to a nearby water body as part of an ancient tradition. At Kundaldham, this day is marked with elaborate rituals, a colourful devotional procession, community fasting, and evening aarti. The entire event is a powerful expression of collective faith and the living continuity of Vaishnava traditions within the Swaminarayan Sampraday.
6Divya Rasotsav
Divya Rasotsav is a magnificent celebration of devotional dance and music offered to the Lord in the spirit of divine play. Inspired by the Ras Lila tradition, this festival brings together groups of devotees who perform coordinated Garba and Raas in the mandir complex, accompanied by live devotional music. The event is a joyful offering of art and movement to Lord Swaminarayan.
7Dryfruit Abhishek
Dryfruit Abhishek is a distinctive and opulent ritual in which the sacred murtis are bathed in a shower of dry fruits — almonds, cashews, pistachios, raisins, and more — as a royal offering to the Lord. This rare and visually spectacular ceremony symbolises the devotees' desire to offer only the finest things at the Lord's lotus feet. The sanctified dry fruits are then distributed as prasad to all present.
8Divya Yagn
Divya Yagn is a sacred fire ritual performed with Vedic precision and devotion, calling upon the divine presence through the ancient medium of agni (sacred fire). Learned pandits and sadhus conduct the yagn over several hours, with mantras filling the air and offerings of ghee, herbs, and grains being made into the fire. Devotees seated around the yagna kund participate through collective chanting, creating an atmosphere charged with spiritual energy.
9Ghanshyam Janmotsav
Ghanshyam Janmotsav is the joyful celebration of the divine birth anniversary of Ghanshyam Maharaj — Lord Swaminarayan in His childhood form. This festival is observed with great love and festivity, with special abhishek, decorations, cultural programmes depicting episodes from the Lord's childhood, and mass distribution of prasad. The Janmotsav draws devotees of all ages and is particularly beloved by children.
10Divya Bhavy Annkut
Divya Bhavy Annkut is one of the grandest offerings at Kundaldham, celebrated on the day after Diwali as a magnificent display of devotion through food. Hundreds of varieties of vegetarian dishes, sweets, savouries, and delicacies are prepared by devotees and arranged in an enormous display before the Lord. The prasad is subsequently distributed to thousands of devotees, making it a cherished occasion of divine grace and communal generosity.
